On April 5, 2022, the 19th City Council passed and approved on Third and Final Reading the following Ordinances, viz:
Ord. No. 0915-22 | An Ordinance authorizing the City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf the City of Davao, the Memorandum of Understanding to be entered into by and between the City of Davao and Interfacing Development Interventions for Sustainability (IDIS), Inc., relative to the administration and implementation of Bantay Bukid Program |
Ord. No. 0916-22 | An Ordinance further amending City Ordinance No. 0218-09, Series of 2009, otherwise known as “The Davao City Parks System Ordinance”, particularly Section 12 thereof |
Ord. No. 0917-22 | An Ordinance granting legislative authority to the City Mayor to enter into and sign, the Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into by and between the City of Davao and PHIX Genomics for the establishment of a Genomics Laboratory in Davao City |
Further, the Body approved Resolution No. 03424-22, Series of 2022, with its corresponding Ordinance on Second Reading, enacting an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 0291-17, Series of 2017, otherwise known as “The 2017 Revenue Code of Davao City” particularly Section 348, applying a common rate in the Market Rental fees per day of meat, chicken and fish sections and granting a thirty-five percent (35%) decrease in such rates for all classes of Markets in Davao City.
Resolution No. 03426-22, Series of 2022, and the corresponding Ordinance on Second Reading, were likewise approved relative to the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to be entered into by and between the City of Davao and Smart Communications, Inc., for the installation of Smart Telecommunication facilities with a Microcell Solution Deployment at Magsaysay Park, this City.
Another Resolution was approved on Second Reading through Resolution No. 03425-22, Series of 2022, declaring compliance of the City Government of Davao to DILG-ARTA-DOE Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-0 prohibiting the levy of fees and taxes on inter-province transport of goods or merchandise, regulatory fees in local ports, and other additional taxes, fees or charges in any form.
The following legislative measures were adopted under the Suspended Rules, to wit:
