 HIGHLIGHTS

The 19th City Council approved on Third and Final Reading Ordinance No. 0902-22, Series of 2022, amending Ordinance No. 1457, Series of 1974, entitled “An Ordinance Prohibiting the Loosening or Letting Stray Dogs in the City of Davao, Providing for the Catching and Impounding of the Same, Collection of Fees for Impounding them and Providing Further for their Disposition When Not Claimed Within a Certain Period and Providing for Penalty in Case of Violation Thereof.

The following Memoranda of Agreement with their corresponding Ordinances were duly approved on Second Reading, viz:

Three separate Ordinances were passed under Suspended Rules authorizing the City Mayor to sign the Sister City Agreements between the City of Davao and Taian Municipal People’s Government of the Peoples Republic of China, Polokwane Municipality of South Africa, and the Islamic City of Marawi through Resolution Nos. 03403-22, 03404-22 and 03405-22, respectively with its corresponding Ordinance Nos. 0904-22, 0905-22, and 0906-22, all Series of 2022.

Finally, Resolution No. 03402-22, Series of 2022, was also adopted under Suspended Rules interposing no objection to the limited Face-To-Face Classes of 35 Public Schools in Davao City.
